You guys. Stylization and Realism are two side of the same coin. They are not mutually exclusive. You can’t properly do one without knowing the other. Don’t deny yourself and entire facet of art history because it’s “not your thing”. The more the DA / Tumblr community differentiate themselves from “traditional” or “historical” art the less anyone will take them seriously. Drawings are drawings. Art is art. Get over it.Anime stuff is fine but Crack open a Raphael book once in a while. SHEESH.
I’ve seen this weird dichotomy in the “internet art” community a lot. No one has to make anything photo realistic or super stylized. It is what it is. But when you refuse to learn another technique you are only hurting yourself, and when it becomes accepted and encouraged to be like “well that’s my style” then it hurts your community and the medium as a whole.

See: modern art.
A lot of paintings I see are artists who just don’t know what they’re doing. That’s not all of them, per se, and it’s easy to tell the difference.

Tony notices that after all the Avengers move into the Tower, JARVIS seems more fatigued than usual (six superheros and one CEO all requesting things at the same time was enough to run anyone ragged, even a computer). So Tony makes another AI, someone to help JARVIS out, when he needs someone to shoulder the some of the burden. He names it Yinsen.
